It's time to give the hedgerows and woodrows a bit of TLC!
Some of them have fallen over, so although the trees are alive they need standing up and re-staking. Some of them have lots of grass growing in their guards, which will need removing and weeding before re-guarding. And a (very) few unfortunately haven't survived, in which case we will collect up the canes and guards.
📅 Wednesday 10th June.
⌚Meet at 10am. Finish will be 3pm at the latest (or earlier if we finish/have had enough!).
📍The car park above Jinlye: See pin in Google map We will then walk back down the lane to the meadows.
What to bring: You will need to bring suitable footwear - boots or wellies. I would also recommend waterproof trousers if you have them as you will be kneeling on the ground. Please bring weather-appropriate gear. Work gloves will be provided but you may prefer to bring your own if you have them Please also bring any food and drink you may need.
To sign up, go to Tree TLC - Jinlye meadow
