Farmers across Yorkshire have seen unprecedented challenges over the course of the last year. Extreme weather conditions from drought in the east, to heavy rainfall in the west, Bluetongue Virus, Government reforms on IHT, and fluctuating stock prices have all played a part.
Now the Farmer Network is to offer a much-needed Autumn morale boost to farmers by organising an evening with renowned farming celebrity Cammy Wilson. He created the Sheep Game You Tube channel 6 years ago and currently has more than 411,000 followers. Cammy posts regular videos from the farm as well as operating a sheep clipping and sheep pregnancy scanning service. He has now introduced The Beef Game to his suite of agricultural enterprises.
Farmers and their families from throughout the North of England are invited to gather at Craven Cattle Market Skipton on the 30th of October 2025 from 6.30 pm, for what will be memorable night. The atmosphere is sure to be electric with many enthusiastic young farmers proudly wearing their Sheep Game hoodies, eagerly awaiting Cammy stories and insights.
The Event will be hosted by The Farmer Network Managing Director, Adam Day, who will channel his inner Michael Parkinson for the evening. Adam will invite questions from the crowd to prompt Cammy’s incredible stories. Cammy's humorous, engaging and very honest storytelling not only provides uplifting entertainment but also offers a much-needed break from the demands of farming life.
Managing Director Adam Day said, "This event is a fantastic opportunity for our farmers to come together, relax, and enjoy a social occasion. "Farming can be an incredibly tough and demanding job, and we hope to see everyone laughing along and enjoying themselves on the night. We know you will not be disappointed".
