Part-Time Dairy Farm Assistant – Staffordshire/Shropshire Border
Are you a self-motivated individual with a passion for livestock and a desire to join a progressive family dairy farm? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Dairy Farm Assistant to join our team, working 3 days a week.
We are a successful family dairy farm milking 180 cows through 3 robots, operating a unique year-round calving and grazing system. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, encompassing both livestock care and machinery operation.
We’re looking for someone who can work effectively as part of our small, dedicated team, but also confidently on their own initiative. While livestock experience is essential, full step-by-step training will be provided for working with our robotic milking system.
In return for your hard work and commitment, we offer a good rate of pay, with an increase after 6 months of employment. We can also be flexible with the specific working days to suit the right applicant.
