The Ag Tech Sales Specialist offers an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, international business at an exciting stage of growth. With opportunities across the South West, Wales, and the North of England, this remote position offers a varied and commercially focused sales opportunity, combining inbound lead management, proactive outbound engagement, and targeted on-farm visits to drive sales and build a strong pipeline. With a strong livestock background, you’ll have a solid understanding of the farming calendar and the confidence to build genuine, long-term relationships with farmers. You’ll be a driven, proactive, and highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment, taking ownership of your territory and delivering results. Combining excellent communication skills with a professional presence at industry events, you’ll be comfortable working independently while contributing to a close-knit, energetic team. Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and market penetration
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular on-farm visits and tailored support
- Manage and qualify leads via phone while proactively engaging customers through outbound calling
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through targeted, strategic farm visits
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage the sales pipeline, and process orders to ensure customer satisfaction
- Grow a strong professional network to drive high-value sales across the industry
- Represent the company at agricultural shows and industry events
Skills you will need:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a sales role
- Confident and professional telephone manner, comfortable making outbound calls and re-engaging cold leads
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- A working knowledge and understanding of the livestock sector and the farming calendar
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with farmers
- Highly organised, able to manage your own schedule and work effectively in a remote setting
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of the business
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently to achieve targets
- Digitally fluent with hands-on experience managing customer data and pipeline health within a CRM system
- UK driving license and the willingness to travel
Desirable:
- Experience using HubSpot
Remuneration: A competitive salary and benefits package, including a car allowance and bonus, commensurate with the successful candidate’s level of experience.
