As a Dairy Support Technician covering the West Midlands, you’ll be at the forefront of modern dairy operations, helping farmers maximise the performance of their equipment and technology. The Company: A well-established, UK-based dairy technology company supporting farms with the installation, maintenance and upgrade services for dairy equipment and systems. Backed by a skilled and dedicated team, it combines decades of industry experience with modern dairy-technology expertise to deliver reliable, responsive service to farming customers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-farm technical support and routine maintenance to clients’ dairy equipment and systems
  • Diagnose and resolve on-site system issues efficiently and effectively, minimising system downtime
  • Liaise with clients to ensure work is completed on time and to specification
  • Lead the installation and commissioning of dairy equipment and management systems
  • Maintain accurate records of work, including service reports and compliance documentation
  • Provide technical support to the wider team, promoting collaboration and knowledge transfer
  • Stay abreast of current market trends and technological advances within the sector

 

Skills you will need:
Essential:

  • Proven experience of working with parlour manufacturers and equipment
  • Technical knowledge of dairy milking systems, parlours and technology
  • A knowledge and understanding of modern dairy production systems
  • Highly organised, able to manage own diary and prioritise workloads
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Dedicated and committed with a strong work ethic
  • Adaptable and responsive, willing to go the extra mile when required
  • Self-motivated and driven to provide outstanding customer service consistently
  • A team player who can also work confidently on their own
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge of dairy management software systems
  • Full, clean UK driving licence with a willingness to travel as required

 

Desirable:

  • F Gas certified
