The Opportunity: Harness your engineering skills to support advanced dairy technology, delivering installation and service for a global leader.

As a Dairy Technical Service Support you’ll join a progressive, forward-thinking team in a varied hybrid role, taking ownership of advanced robotic systems, from installation and optimisation through to ongoing technical support. You will manage the full installation and setup process, ensuring technicians are well prepared to deliver efficient work and a high-quality customer experience. Covering the UK, you’ll combine your technical expertise with strong communication skills to deliver dependable solutions, support both customers and technicians, and consistently uphold high performance standards. This role is well suited to an engineer with a solid background in mechanical, electrical, or automated systems, combined with agricultural knowledge and a passion for innovation. You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy, confidently tackling complex challenges while also coaching, influencing, and supporting others to drive continuous improvement. Role Responsibilities include :

  • Managing end-to-end installation, setup, and operations, ensuring technicians are fully equipped to deliver efficient installations and an outstanding customer experience
  • Providing second-line technical support to improve customer satisfaction, ensure effective issue resolution, and drive consistent implementation of product updates
  • Ensure technicians are trained and certified to maintain high standards of installation and maintenance
  • Support the validation of new and updated solutions and be the main point of contact to develop consistent technical standards

 

Skills you will need:
Essential:

  • Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, automation, and pneumatic systems
  • An understanding of the agricultural sector and/or machinery
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to transfer knowledge effectively
  • Highly organised and detail-orientated
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build strong business relationships
  • Adaptable and self-motivated, able to respond quickly to business needs
  • A collaborative team member who is also capable of working independently
  • Excellent IT skills
  • UK driving licence and willingness to travel
