Position at award-winning livestock business
Are you a highly organised team player? This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced, award-winning livestock business to ensure efficient and smooth operations across the North West.
To succeed, you’ll need a strong understanding of livestock farming and the ability to build lasting, productive
relationships with farmers. You’ll need a mix of practical livestock skills and administrative attention to detail. The role
offers a hybrid working schedule, allowing you to work from home for two days a week, with the remaining time spent at
our clients’ sites and farms across the North West.

innovation to ensure the needs of both farmers and customers are met.
Role Responsibilities:
● To ensure a sufficient and consistent supply of livestock for the business to meet demand
● To network and establish business relationships with livestock farmers
● To manage the transportation of stock, ensuring animals arrive on time, with the animals’ welfare being the top
priority
● To ensure compliance with industry standards and farm assurance requirements
● To work collaboratively across the team, ensuring a smooth, efficient supply chain
● To stay informed and updated on market trends and price fluctuations within the sector
Skills you will need:
Essential:
● Strong knowledge and understanding of livestock production systems
● Highly organised and able to prioritise own diary to meet business needs
● A passion for livestock, and a natural networker who enjoys dealing with farmers
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to handle sensitive or potentially contentious discussions
diplomatically to achieve positive outcomes
● A team player who can work cross-functionally across a business
● Driven and resilient with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, open to working flexible hours when
required
● Familiar with industry standards and regulatory requirements
● Good commercial and financial acumen
● Proficient in IT skills
● A UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the north west
Remuneration: A competitive basic salary, bonus scheme, company vehicle, and pension scheme.
