Are you a driven and commercially-minded individual ready to join a long-established company specialising in the supply of award-winning British beef?
As the Livestock Procurement Consultant, you will take ownership of growing the business’s market share and securing
a consistent, high-quality beef supply. The role is fully remote and focuses on managing and developing relationships
with new and existing farmers, onboarding new farms, and providing crucial technical advice on livestock systems and
genetics during regular farm visits. Success requires previous sales or account management experience, strong
knowledge of livestock production systems, excellent negotiation skills, and commercial acumen.

Role Responsibilities:
● Manage, build and develop the business relationship with the existing ledger of dairy farmers across the
territory
● Conduct regular farm visits to maintain strong relationships and provide technical advice on livestock systems
and genetics.
● Negotiating terms and contracts with farmers to secure a consistent, high-quality supply
● Onboard new farm accounts, ensuring compliance with expected animal health and welfare standards
● Build strong relationships with other farm suppliers to form a strong network in your area
● Forecast future livestock supply requirements and ensure alignment with the business’s demand
● Work closely with the procurement, technical, and supply chain teams to ensure quality and sustainability
standards are met
Skills you will need:
Essential:
● Previous experience in Sales, Account Management and/or Business Development roles
● Strong knowledge and understanding of livestock production systems and, ideally, livestock genetics
● Highly organised and able to prioritise own diary to meet business needs
● Excellent communication and negotiation skills
● A team player who can work cross-functionally across a business
● Driven and resilient with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
● Good commercial and financial acumen
● Proficient in IT skills
● A UK driving licence
Remuneration: A competitive salary, dependent on the successful candidate’s level of experience, bonus scheme,
company vehicle, and pension scheme.
