We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager for the South Shropshire area.

Job Description

To handle all incoming enquiries to the depot, dealing with new and used farm machinery sales enquiries, liaising with all depots and service departments. To identify and contact potential customers, and liaise with manufacturer representatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identification and contact of potential customer within our core business or agricultural and ancillary industries
  • Dealing with incoming sales enquiries whether they be via phone, email, web and in depot
  • Preparation of quotes for customers
  • Arranging demonstrations with the depot’s sales support specialists as required
  • Preparations of appraisals and estimated PDI budgets
  • Ensuring efficient, correct and timely completion of paperwork
  • Fill in weekly call sheets outlining customer contacts made
  • Credit control as instructed by the Accounts Manager
  • To represent the company at shows and open evenings
  • To liaise with the Marketing & Communications Executive over marketing initiatives
  • To liaise with manufacturer representatives to ensure best purchasing
  • To liaise with finance house representatives where necessary to provide the customer with a finance quote to suit their requirements
