Part-Time Bookkeepers – Experienced & Junior roles available
Location: Knutsford, Cheshire (Hybrid – home & client premises)
We are a small, friendly bookkeeping practice based in Knutsford, Cheshire, specialising in supporting farming clients and rural-based businesses. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit two Part-Time Bookkeepers — one Experienced Bookkeeper and one Junior Bookkeeper — to join our team.
The Roles
Both roles involve supporting farming and rural business clients with day-to-day bookkeeping. Our systems are highly automated, allowing much of the work to be completed from home; however, regular travel to clients’ premises (weekly or monthly) will be required.
Working hours are highly flexible, making these roles ideal for someone working between school hours or a semi-retired professional. The roles are hybrid, with quarterly team meetings held at our Knutsford office.
- Experienced Bookkeeper: Managing a portfolio of clients and liaising directly with them
- Junior Bookkeeper: Supporting the team with data input and general bookkeeping duties, with full training provided
About You
Depending on the role, you will:
- Be ICB or AAT Level 2 qualified (or working towards for the junior role)
- Have experience using Xero (experience with QuickBooks and/or FreeAgent an advantage)
- Have an understanding of, or interest in, farming and rural business
- Be willing to travel to clients’ premises (own transport required)
