Over recent months, the UK milk sector has experienced significant pressure from global milk supplies and commodity markets, leading to a sudden and sharp fall in milk prices.
In an effort to gain understanding of how regulations are working and how the sector is responding to current conditions, the Agricultural Supply Chain Adjudicator is now inviting people from across the milk sector to complete a short survey on milk pricing and supply chain relationships.
The survey asks about the regulations, the role of the ASCA, and how relationships between producers and purchasers have worked during this challenging period. Feedback is being sought to help the Agricultural Supply Chain Adjudicator understand what is working well and where the regulations may need further support or attention.
Dairy farmers, processors and members of representative organisations are all encouraged to participate.
The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and runs tillĀ Monday 20th April.
