Children from small working family farms invited to enter writing competition

Buck’s have launched a book writing competition for children who live on small working farms in England. The challenge is to write a true story about growing up on working family farm which shares a real experience, includes at least one animal, and tells the story of a challenge that that was overcome (other than writing a book!).

The prize for one talented winner is to have their story published and receive 10% of profits from sales for their family farm.

Eligibility

• Under 18

• From a small working family farm in England

• Submission must include full parental consent (via the application form)

Story Requirements

• Based on real-life events

• Includes at least one animal

• Shows a genuine challenge and how you or your family overcame it
