With more than 40 years’ experience supporting British dairy farmers, Wolfenden Concrete have launched AgriStride – a pioneering range of flooring solutions designed to improve herd welfare, boost productivity, and promote sustainability.

Developed with vets, farmers, and leading agricultural experts, AgriStride is a hybrid flooring range incorporating the optimum benefits of concrete and rubber, with concrete slats for better grip and rubber inserts for greater comfort.

AgriStride is the culmination of six years’ research and development.  To emphasise the importance of this innovation, Wolfenden have refreshed their brand and launched AgriStride as its own entity, with one clear purpose: pioneering herd health from the ground up.

AgriStride is designed to help solve some of the most pressing issues dairy farmers face today, offering:

• better herd welfare and cow confidence, improving hoof health and reducing lameness – which costs around £180 per affected cow,
• improved sustainability though better slurry management, cleaner floors and drainage that can help reduce surface level ammonia by up to 60%,
• flexibility and durability to help futureproof dairy housing.

Together, this means higher yields and a more efficient, more productive farm.

The range launched with two products:

The AgriStride Vario is the world’s first wide-spanning diagonal flooring system, with a patent pending.  No other diagonal cover can be used over narrow channels and wide passages.  It incorporates a unique chevron design for quicker floor cleaning and better hoof health.

The AgriStride Classic has class-leading axle loadings, up to 40 tonnes.  Ideal for wide passageways, it provides better welfare and increased yield on first lactation cows.

The benefits of AgriStride were recognised at the Great Yorkshire Show, firstly winning the Award for Engineering Innovation, and then named Overall Innovation Award winner.
