Tramspread - the company which introduced the first British-made 24m umbilical dribble bar 15 years ago - will launch their new 24m vertical folding dribble bar at LAMMA 2026. (Hall 12. Stand 12.350)
This latest model is the result of extensive practical experience, expertise and 18 moths of field testing. It features a completely new boom which folds vertically, making it suitable for use with any make and model of appropriately sized tractor, while close-coupling means it’s well-matched to tractors of around 150hp plus, just like the horizontal folding version.
High-quality heavy-duty construction has been prioritised to make guy ropes unnecessary. The important ability to fold down to 18m, with shut-off taps, has been retained from the existing 18/24m model. Other premium features include breakback end sections, electrohydraulic controls using power beyond and left/right variable boom geometry.
Pipework from the front-mounted swinging arm through to the two macerators is 5” in diameter to accommodate high flow-rates and maximum output. There is the choice of two market-leading macerators, from Alrena or Vogelsang, both of which offer reliable and precise distribution.
In common with other Tramspread Suffolk range dribble bars, when folded the new 24m model allows full access to the tractor pickup hitch so that the applicator tractor can tow an engine driven pump unit between jobs. This important feature means that just one tractor is needed for running an umbilical spreading system when working with a front-mounted random wrap hose reeler, dribble bar and engine driven pump unit equipped with a suitable Tramspread remote control system.
