The Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir, a group supported by television presenter Jeremy Clarkson, has been named the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2026, becoming the first choir ever to claim the competition’s top prize.
During the live grand final, Clarkson watched proudly as the choir delivered an emotional performance that helped secure their victory. The achievement marks a milestone in the show's history and highlights the growing recognition of rural communities and farming voices across the UK.
Following the announcement, choir member Katryna Shell dedicated the win to farmers and those facing personal challenges, encouraging people to speak openly about their struggles and seek support when needed.
As champions, the choir receives a £250,000 prize and will perform at the prestigious Royal Variety Performance later this year.
Ahead of the final, members of the choir praised Clarkson for his unwavering support throughout their journey. Their original song, This Is Home, earned widespread praise from the judging panel, with judge KSI expressing his admiration for the track and saying he would happily add it to his playlist.
Simon Cowell admitted he had initially been uncertain about the group's choice to perform an original song but later described the performance as moving, uplifting, and beautifully executed. Amanda Holden was also visibly emotional, praising the choir’s harmonies and the heartfelt message behind their music.
In the final standings, dog act Anastasiia and Salsa secured third place, while drone performance team Celestial finished as runners-up with a spectacular pre-recorded display featuring memorable moments from past seasons of the show.
The final also featured a special reunion performance from pop group Mis-Teeq. Alesha Dixon joined Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash on stage for the first time in more than two decades, performing a selection of their best-known hits ahead of their upcoming Wembley Arena concert.
Other standout performances included fire artist Liwei Yang, who delivered a dramatic routine involving flaming props and acrobatics, as well as appearances from magician-musician Rafferty Coope and poet Sonny Green.
The 2026 final showcased a diverse range of talent, but it was the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir that captured the hearts of viewers and made Britain’s Got Talent history.
