At Sunnyfields Farm in Totton, Hampshire, farmers Ian, Louise and their son Tom have created a memorable Halloween tribute to rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away earlier this year. Using only pumpkins, the family constructed a dramatic display in his honour — a nod to the “Prince of Darkness” that merges musical legacy with agricultural flair.
The pumpkin trail — open from October 4 to October 31 — is a seasonal tradition for the farm. Each year, they invite social media followers to suggest ideas for the display. In past years they’ve paid homage to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas and even Paddington Bear. In 2023 they broke a Guinness World Record by crafting a 193.35 m² mosaic from approximately 10,000 pumpkins.
With Ozzy Osbourne’s name topping this year’s suggestion list, the Nelson family embraced the idea and brought it to life in time for Halloween. Visitors can book to walk the trail here.
